1:10 pm PT Providence Service acquires Maple Star Nevada and Maple ServicesþPRSC 26.86 -0.65:Co announces it has acquired Maple Star Nevada and Maple Services LLC. Maple Star Nevada provides therapeutic foster care services in several Nevada locations and Maple Services LLC is a for-profit management company that provides management services to Oregon and Colorado not-for-profit providers of foster care services. The purchase price for the two for-profit entities was $8.4 mln. As a result, the co raises its 2005 revenue guidance and currently expects $137 mln, up from prior guidance of $135 mln. While the acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings by $0.02 per diluted share in 2006, co does not expect any material impact on expected EPS of $0.99 this year.
