2:10 pm PT NovaTel Receives Contract from Raytheon Company for Additional WAAS-GII Receivers (NGPS) 29.07 -0.02: -Update- Co announced that it has received an order for additional Wide Area Augmentation System receivers (WAAS-GII) from Raytheon NovAtel anticipates shipping the WAAS-GII receivers in Q4 2005. The new contract award for the additional receivers will be used to further extend the US WAAS network. NovAtel estimates the value of this recent WAAS-GII contract award to be approximately US$470,000.
2:08 pm PT ACE Limited provides Y06 outlook (ACE) 53.85 -1.05:Co announced the following guidance for the ACE Group of Companies for the full year 2006: Property & Casualty net earned premium growth is expected to average 6-8%; Earned premium growth is expected to be slower in early quarters and accelerate as the year progresses. Financial Services operating income is expected to decline ~15%; total investment income is expected to range between $1.45-1.50 bln. Interest expense and preferred dividends are expected to be ~$210 million. Effective tax rate is expected to be between 22-24%. Co also announced that it will be filing a shelf registration in the near future. The shelf replaces the previous capacity used in connection with the October common stock offering. The Company has no plans for utilization of the new shelf at this time.
