The Dow failed to reach its Nov high early in the week, broke down below a near two week trading range and is closing lower for the second week in a row. While the S&P 500 is also in the red for the second consecutive week, the overall performance has been relatively neutral as consolidative action slightly below Tuesday's 52-wk highs (for all except for the Dow) has dominated. Sectors helping to underpin the market today include: Semi +1.7%, Healthcare +1.3%, Computer-Hardware +1.1%, Telecom +1%, Banking +0.9%, Auto Parts +0.9% and Utility +0.8%. Energy has been a drag (Coal -2.8%, Oil -1.6%, Natural Gas -0.8%, Oil Service -0.7%).
