The companies anticipate that the acquisition will close by the end of June 2006. Upon completion of the acquisition, NetIQ shares will cease trading on Nasdaq. Under the terms of the merger agreement, AttachmateWRQ has agreed to pay $12.20 per share in cash to NetIQ shareholders, for a total transaction value of approximately $495 mln.
