Same-store sales for May decreased by 1.7%. Total May sales were $65.3 mln, down 3% YOY. Same-store sales (open at least 18 mos.) down 1.7%, and avg. weekly sales (all Ryan's units) were down 0.04%. Management believes that May's softer sales result from the adverse impact of higher gasoline prices on the discretionary spending of its customer base.
